CLICKSPACE TURNS FIVE

ENTREPRENEURIAL SPIRIT

Tuesday, August 11th proved that maybe 9 a 11 is the new 5 à 7.

ClickSpace, Montreal’s IYKYK coworking collection by Avenir Properties, celebrated its fifth anniversary high above the city on the rooftop of the group’s iconic 1 Chabanel property in the heart of District Central.

And yes, there were views. There were lewks. And, most importantly at that hour, there was Café Olimpico, serving up all things caffeinated to fuel conversation among a who’s who of Montreal’s startup and entrepreneurial scene.

Ahuntsic-Cartierville Mayor Maude Thérroux-Séguin, of Les Cavistes fame, joined the festivities with her team, while ClickSpace Managing Director and hostess-with-the-mostest Margaux Chetrit spent the morning doing what she does best: playing matchmaker between businesses, founders, banks and investors. Among those working the room? Scotiabank, National Bank and RBC- including queen Ann No-Delaide herself.

More than 300 guests flowed in and out over the course of the morning, proving that networking before noon may officially be having a moment.

SDC District Central, PME MTL, ProMontreal Entrepreneurs and KPMG were among the proud partners supporting the celebration and, more importantly, the entrepreneurs who have made the ClickSpace ecosystem home to the cities hustlers over the past five years.

And the story isn’t over. Next up for ClickSpace? A fourth phase and new creative coworking community launching this fall inside Avenir’s newest acquisition, the legendary Belgo building downtown.

Coffee. Community. Connections. And all before lunch.
