A fashion model, podcaster and LGBTQ+ trans and queer activist, Marie joined us to open up about her life, her journey and the experiences that have shaped the woman she is today.
Through her platform, she also creates thoughtful and empowering content for the LGBTQ+ community, sharing honest conversations, personal insight and some of the very best advice.

1. What are the advantages of being an artist and fashion model?
“Honestly, I see myself more as an artist than a traditional fashion model. What I love most is working with people and brands that value who I am; my personality, my identity, and what I stand for, not just the way I look. I’m not trying to fit into a fixed mold: I have tattoos, I switch up my hair, I evolve a lot, and I like being able to express that freedom through fashion.”
2. Who are you inspired by to become a model?
“I’d say I’m more inspired by the fashion industry itself than the “model lifestyle.” Designers and creators like Alexander McQueen really shaped the way I see fashion, especially the way it can be bold, emotional, inclusive, and unapologetically queer. That kind of artistic storytelling is what pulled me in.”
3. Do you take part in any shows?
“I used to take part in shows when I was younger, but now I’m more drawn to attending fashion events. I love being present in the fashion world in that way, whether it’s local events or international ones, and staying connected to the industry through those spaces.”
