Gird your loins! The Devil Wears Prada 2 premiere fashions have begun.
Before the film hits the big screen on May 1, stars including Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt, and Stanley Tucci will be stepping onto red carpets to promote it- which means you can expect plenty of standout fashion moments from around the world in the coming weeks.
Naturally, anticipation is high for the sequel, which arrives 20 years after the original. Per the logline, it follows “Miranda Priestly as she navigates her career amid the decline of traditional magazine publishing and faces off against Blunt’s character, Emily Charlton- now a high-powered executive at a luxury group with advertising dollars that Priestly desperately needs.”
For the very first stop on the press tour, in Mexico City, Streep emerged wearing a red Dolce & Gabbana suit, while Anne Hathaway opted for a fringed Schiaparelli dress with a sculptural gold belt. For a late-night appearance on The Stephen Colbert Show, Streep wore a custom cerulean J.Crew sweater. (Yes, not turquoise or lapis-cerulean.)
In Tokyo, the looks continued on. Streep stepped out in new Matthieu Blazy-era Chanel, while Anne Hathaway opted for Valentino couture, from the spring 2026 collection.
Don’t want to miss a second of the fashion action? Be sure to check back here to see what the film’s A-list cast is wearing throughout the press tour. Keep your eyes peeled… perhaps we’ll spot some thigh-high leather Chanel boots, or even a cerulean sweater.
