I could totally lie and pretend I don’t drink coffee, but I do. Sure, it’s the organic variety but it’s coffee, brimming with good ol’ caffeine. Helps me ‘people’ better.

That said, I’m also a HUUUGE believer in the energizing powers of a good organic juice, so am rather tickled to share today’s personalized version of Bio Source’s Energizer. We call it The Jennergizer. ‘Course we do!

Packed with stamina-enhancing beets (according to a Mercola-approved study, those who drank beet juice prior to exercise were able to rock it out for 16 percent longer), free-radical fighing, blood-sugar balancing carrots, and anti-inflammatory, muscle pain-reducing ginger, plus a pack of other good body enhancers like pear, cucumber and the great neutralizer – lemon, this combo is so effective, it makes me wanna … dare I say it … marathon (and I never wanna do that).

Sooo … in honour of your next marathon, scheduled workout or today’s regular life challenges and / or unexpected zingers, power up one of these juice babies and be ready for it all.

Ingredients (makes one large juice, best to go organic) 

1 large beet
3-4 stalks of celery
4 small carrots
1 pear or apple (pear adds sweetness)
1/2 lemon
1/2 cucumber
Small piece of ginger

How-to

Add all ingredients to juicer, starting with the harder veggies like beets, and carrots, following with the softer offerings. Pour into your favourite glass and enjoy. Superjuice indeed!
