THE GREEN GIANT
(makes one, organic choices are best)
- 3 bunches of kale
- 2 stalks of celery
- 3 large leaves of Romaine lettuce
- 1 pear or apple (pear adds sweetness)
- 1/4 lemon
- 1/2 cucumber
- Stevia to taste
This is so easy even I can do it. 😉 Basically, just cut up the larger items (cored pear and / or apple and cucumber and seeded lemon) and add all to your juicer or extractor. (FYI: the Nutribullet machines rock and are crazily cost efficient, leaving a fair bit extra for the must-have accessories).
Next, pour the glaringly green giant into a sexy glass (glam definitely ups the experience) and enjoy the rejuvenating, replenishing benefits that come from a strategic combination of greens like this.
On that front: Sure I can go on and on about the vitamins, minerals, and alkaline benefits derived from imbibing such nutrient-rich superfoods (that btw work extra-potently in juice form) but hey, you’ve heard that song before, like a trazillion times to the point that it’s slightly annoying.
