Repercussion Theatre, the beloved company that has been bringing the magic of Shakespeare to Montreal’s parks every summer for decades, is back with its most exciting and visionary production yet. This year, the company is presenting an Afrofuturistic reimagining of William Shakespeare’s The Winter’s Tale, and it is every bit as extraordinary, bold, and beautifully alive as that description promises.
Running nightly at 7:00 PM through August 15th, 2026, the production travels across different parks throughout Montreal, bringing this stunning and deeply imaginative take on one of Shakespeare’s most complex and moving plays directly to the heart of the communities that make this city so extraordinary. The show opened to great excitement at the iconic Jarry Park and the energy since has been nothing short of electric.
