Good news Montreal, Laval and Ottawa!
The Tulip Festival is on for the entire month of May making it the perfect destination for moms this upcoming Mother’s Day.
While there’s lots of sensory magic to be had – and purchased! – in the the fields of Laval and Boucherville (open daily), Ottawa boasts the biggest tulip fields in the country (over 300,000!) with the added perk of a live orchestra concert and free drinks, a tradition dating back to 1953.
And if that’s not incentive enough, there are still more glorious tulips to be enjoyed at Parliament Hill and Commissioners Park. And if you’re really lucky you might also happen upon the PM or a member of the Royal Family, who periodically drop in to enjoy the floral festivities and greet the 650,000 visitors.
What are you waiting for? 😉 Make your tulip plan today and let us know how it went:
