THE MCCORD’S PARACHUTE FASHION EXHIBIT

THE EPIC BRAND’S RISE TO GLOBAL PHENOMENON

Beloved the world over for its celebratory spirit, Montreal also enjoys a reputation as one of the most stylish. So it’s no surprise that one of the hottest luxury fashion brands of the eighties – PARACHUTE – hails from the Party City and is currently the focus of a so-you-wanna-go exhibit at the McCord Museum.  Running through April 24th, 2022, the celebration of the avant-garde range founded in 1977 by fashion designer Nicola Pelly and architect Harry Pannas not only features incredible creations worn by legendary performers and artists like Madonna, Peter Gabriel and David Bowie, but also dazzles with a slew of other archival materials and spellbinding captures.  For a sneak peek, see below. To experience live, head to the McCord at 690 Sherbrooke St W, Montreal, Quebec H3A 1E9.
