Montreal seized the night and what a night it was!
The 18th edition of Printemps du MAC, presented by BonLook, transformed Place Ville Marie into a dreamlike wonderland on May 29th under the enchanting theme Carpe Noctem and the results were nothing short of extraordinary. Over 1,000 guests came together for an evening of art, fashion, and music that raised an incredible $415,000 in support of Habiter le MAC, the Museum’s new career development program for emerging Quebec artists. Bravo does not even begin to cover it.

From the moment guests stepped onto the BonLook red carpet each gifted a pair of BonLook sunglasses to complete their look, the evening felt like stepping into a beautifully curated dream. In collaboration with mmode, several of Montreal’s most exciting emerging designers created bespoke pieces worn by notable guests throughout the night, celebrating the next generation of Quebec creative talent in the most stylish way possible.
The activations were equally spectacular, a photo booth by La Maison Simons, skin analysis by Dermapure, an immersive DJ area presented by Holt Renfrew Ogilvy, beauty touch-ups courtesy of Beauté Star, and an espresso martini bar by Café Liégeois that had everyone talking. Musical performances by Huli, SAP, and Frikiton kept the energy soaring before a surprise appearance by the incomparable Rita Baga brought the house completely down.
But the most beautiful moment of the evening? Guests were invited to peek into the workshops of the very first Habiter le MAC cohort, connecting intimately with local emerging artists, a reminder that at its heart, this night was always about the art and the artists who make Montreal so extraordinary.
To the honorary co-chairs, the dedicated volunteer committee, and every partner who made Carpe Noctem possible, Montreal and the MAC Foundation thank you. What a legacy you are building, one unforgettable evening at a time.
