Launched in 2015, Pravi Cosmétiques Naturels is a botanical-based, science-inspired skincare brand created by two women, Catherine Bastien and Pascale Boulé, who wanted to craft something unique that didn’t compromise their beliefs.
With Bastien’s background in digital marketing and Boulé’s career as a paramedic, they combined their technical and health-related backgrounds to pursue a passion project that included their experience in creativity and wellbeing: Pravi.
Certified organic via Québec Vrai and with vegan, cruelty-free, clean and non-toxic formulas made with premium, pharmaceutical-grade and natural active elements, each Pravi product is enhanced with essential oils.
The winner of the Prix Beauté Clin d’œil – Experts Choice for their Glowing gel mask (with vegetable collagen and fruit acid complex) in 2020, the under $50 Glowing gel mask stimulates collagen production, brightens and refines the complexion thanks to fruit acids, plant-based collagen, vitamin B5, calendula and aloe extracts.
It also contains clay, which removes impurities.
The line includes a range of moisturizers, a night cream, eye contour cream, multiple serums, a cleansing lotion and oil, facial scrub, gel masks, a hydrating mist, soothing gel and skin treatments, a lip balm, bar soaps for the face and body, solid shampoos, revitalizing bars and makeup remover wipes; all formulated and produced in Quebec.
It also has a dedicated men’s line.
Ingredients include the likes of like Alaria Esculenta, a marine extract that helps with helps with firmness, hydration and elasticity, Rhododendron Ferrugineum extract, which uses a novel anti-aging mechanism and Camellia Oleifera Seed Oil that is rich in fatty and oleic acid, helping to inhibit collagen breakdown.
As for their fragrance, they’re derived solely from essential oils.
Every Pravi moisturizing product is made with hyaluronic acid, and none of the products contain water.
