Knee-high leather boots against a granite landscape should not make sense. And yet, in the hands of Givenchy Creative Director Sarah Burton and through the lens of legendary photographer Juergen Teller, it is absolutely, undeniably magnificent.
Givenchy’s Fall/Winter 2026 campaign, shot on location in the rocky terrain of Croatia, is a breathtaking exploration of the tension between femininity and edge, a balance that has become one of the defining signatures of Sarah Burton’s Givenchy. And this campaign captures that tension in the most powerful and deeply personal way the house has ever produced.
The cast is nothing short of extraordinary. Kaia Gerber, Eva Herzigova, Nyaduola Gabriel, and Liu Wen share the frame alongside French writer and lawyer Constance Debré, each bringing her own personal history, her own energy, and her own unmistakable presence to a production that is as much a celebration of individual women as it is a showcase for the collection itself.
“There’s a directness about the women in the campaign which speaks to their personality and strength. I wanted it to be purely about that — everything I design at Givenchy centers on seeing and celebrating the reality and the brilliance of all kinds of women,” says Burton.
The looks are as varied and compelling as the women wearing them. Thigh-high boots and a black leotard. A perfectly tailored suit and tie. A bejeweled chest piece of cascading gems. A simple black dress with a steep slit and spaghetti straps. Colour appears in the most meaningful and unexpected touches: multicolored fringe, a shocking yellow, flowers in deep reds and oranges. Every choice intentional. Every detail considered. The balance of strength and sensuality meeting in a precarious and completely beautiful dance.
Sarah Burton has pulled it off magnificently. And Givenchy has never looked more alive, more relevant, or more deeply, beautifully itself.
