Every year, as May makes its appearance on the seasonal calendar, the most recognized and accomplished talent in the movie industry pack up their most fashionable gownage and black-tie attire (often with a very fine stylist in tow, who likely secured same attire from a legion of top designers vying to dress their client) and head for, arguably, the most famous and fabulous film fest in the world: THE CANNES FILM FESTIVAL. 2018 was no different. The stars were out in rare form, leaving jaws agog on many a red carpet as they posed, swished, swayed and did designers of their respective mastery so very proud. Of course, we in Diary world were smitten kittens, awed by the glam and fab of it all, and would be remiss journos (and bad sisters) if we didn’t share some of our faves.
