At the magnificent Teatro Cultura Artística in São Paulo, a landmark originally opened in 1950 and beautifully restored and reopened in 2024, Bvlgari staged an unforgettable night in three acts under the most poetic theme imaginable: love in freedom. From the moment guests gathered for cocktails in the stunning foyer, it was clear this evening was going to be something entirely extraordinary.
The first act belonged to language. Actress Camila Pitanga opened the evening with a captivating reading of “Estâncias de Amor” by José de Freitas Valle, a text drawn from the collection of the Visual Arts Library of the Pinacoteca. Words filling the historic space with warmth, beauty, and meaning.
The second act shifted to movement and social purpose. Educator and Oportunidade do Bem founder Ana Eliza Setúbal spoke with extraordinary passion about the role of philanthropy in culture before 16 dancers from Ballet Paraisópolis took to the stage, combining classical technique with contemporary movement to an original score by Fernando Dalla Nora. It was the kind of performance that stays with you long after the curtain falls.
And the evening closed in the most magnificent way possible with a special musical performance by Adriana Calcanhotto and Luedji Luna, two generations of Brazilian popular music sharing the stage in a moment that had the entire room completely spellbound.
Among the guests were Marina Ruy Barbosa, André Lamoglia, Sheron Menezzes, Mariana Ximenes, and Alexandre Nero, a gathering that perfectly embodied the evening’s beautiful crossover between art, fashion, and culture.
More than a celebration, this was a statement. Bvlgari continues to prove that true luxury has always been about so much more than jewels. It is about the art we create, the culture we preserve, and the love we celebrate together.
