BEST OF NYFW SEPTEMBER 2021

It’s been a helluva ride for all of us – including the fashion world where suddenly all customs and mores integral to its survival went by the wayside, including the almighty seasonal runway festivities when designers unveil their mastery for the coming seasons to purchasing audiences and the planet at large. Well, thanks to elevated safety (facilitated in large part by the advent of vaccines), runways returned at last, and, of course, us die-hard fashion devotees were elated. From the established brands we can’t live without (hello Tom Ford and Michael Kors!) to a parade of gifted newcomers, the talent was all there and we couldn’t help but hope for a better sunnier world … on and off the runways …
