Wylder Organics’ journey began with one simple belief: that the world’s most potent skincare ingredients aren’t found in a lab, but in the wild.
“Seven years ago, my partner and I quit our jobs, sold everything we owned and bought a property in rural Nova Scotia. This is where we discovered the Canadian botanicals that now appear in every Wylder product, and where we really learned to slow down and lean into nature,” says Tamara McKaig, the founder of the luxury skincare brand.
“Our backgrounds in retail, marketing and technology continue to shape how we build Wylder Organics, by combining storytelling, customer experience and thoughtful product development into a brand we’re proud of and that we hope people connect with.”
Launched in 2025, the efficacious line that promises visible, transformative results without compromising skin’s delicate nature uses gentle yet potent, plant-based ingredients sourced exclusively in Canada and New Zealand.

“I founded Wylder after discovering the power of wild botanicals. I have very sensitive skin and spent years searching for plant-based, natural skincare that was both gentle and truly effective, and I struggled to find anything that worked,” McKaig says.
“Over four years, I experimented with wild-harvested ingredients and developed the extracts that are the heart of our line. Wylder creates performance-driven skincare powered by botanicals from the resilient landscapes of Canada and the remote purity of New Zealand. Our ethos is simple: visible results without compromise, through rituals that feel intentional, grounding and create a connection with nature.”
All of the wildcrafted ingredients, which include Canadian Chaga and New Zealand Manuka, are ethically harvested and inspire the names of the products they go into.
“Our Manuka Resilience Nourishing Cream is the product that we’re most proud of. It’s rich, but it doesn’t sit heavily on the skin. Instead, it sinks in beautifully, giving that feeling of deep, lasting moisture and a calm, well-cared for complexion,” says the founder.
“I love it because it supports the skin’s barrier, helps it feel more resilient, and leaves it soft and supple. It works just as well as a smooth base under makeup as it does as the final step in a nightly ritual.
