If glamour is about feeling good in your own skin, Brittany Kennell is already there.
Raised in Beaconsfield and shaped by her time at Berklee College of Music, she spent nearly a decade in Nashville finding her sound, a blend of honest country storytelling and rootsy, rock edge. Many first discovered her on The Voice, where she made history as the first Canadian contestant, landing on Blake Shelton‘s team and later working with Miley Cyrus. Since then, her trajectory has only climbed, including a milestone performance at the Grand Ole Opry, making her the first female Quebec artist to take that stage. Closer to home, she has become a familiar voice singing the anthem for the Montreal Canadiens and performing regularly at festivals across Quebec.

But beyond the spotlight, Brittany is grounded in purpose.
As ambassador for the Barry F. Lorenzetti Foundation, she speaks openly about the importance of mental health and the impact it has on every part of life. Drawn in by what she describes as a feeling of family, she connected deeply with the foundation’s mission and the genuine compassion of the team behind it. That connection was reinforced through its founder, Barry F. Lorenzetti, whose commitment to bringing mental health to the forefront resonated with her. At the foundation, she’s actively involved in annual events like Rise to Wellness Day, the Gala, the Foundation Cup, and new this year, the first ever Men’s Mental Health Symposium.

Artistically, she is entering a new era, one shaped profoundly by motherhood and a heightened awareness of time. Being a new mom has given her fierce confidence and a deeper appreciation for the present, especially as she watches her son grow. It has brought a new perspective, naturally finding its way into her songwriting, which has become more vulnerable and intimate. “My stories have evolved as I’ve gotten more comfortable in my skin,” she says. “Being a storyteller means being vulnerable and sharing your experiences. It’s hard to be personal in front of the whole world, but it matters when your story can help someone else.”

At the end of the day, Brittany isn’t just telling stories. She’s living them fully, honestly, and with a kind of glamour that comes from being unapologetically herself. Brittany’s latest singles are available on all major music platforms, and she can be seen performing at festivals across Quebec throughout the year.

“BEING A STORYTELLER MEANS BEING VULNERABLE AND SHARING YOUR EXPERIENCES. IT’S HARD TO BE PERSONAL IN FRONT OF THE WHOLE WORLD, BUT IT MATTERS WHEN YOUR STORY CAN HELP SOMEONE ELSE.”
