On Monday, December 16th, 2024, a hundred of Montreal’s dynamic women entrepreneurs gathered to celebrate at the awe-inspiring Doxa for the 3rd annual Women Entrepreneurs Holiday Party. Organized by Joy & Joie, a division of Rev Communications, the event continued its tradition of bringing together self-employed women, small business owners, and independent professionals for a festive evening of connection, celebration, and joy.
“We have an incredible and diverse community of women entrepreneurs in Montreal,” says Tuti Do, President of Rev Communications. “The holidays are a time to celebrate our hard work, achievements, and the friendships we’ve built along the way.” With expertise in curating unforgettable events, the agency enlisted some of the city’s top vendors to create a magical night to remember.
This year’s event was held at the exclusive Doxa, offering guests a rare opportunity to step inside this stunning 11,000-square-foot mansion in Montreal’s historic Old Port. Typically closed to the public, Doxa opened its doors for one special evening, providing a glimpse into the epitome of luxury. With its sophisticated ambiance and exceptional hospitality, the venue set the stage for a memorable night filled with warmth, laughter, and holiday cheer.
Guests were treated to an exquisite culinary experience by Doxa Catering, led by master executive chef Nick Bramos. Renowned for his innovative creations at Emmanuelle Lounge, Yubari, and formerly at Marcus at The Four Seasons Hotel, Bramos curated an exceptional selection of hors d’oeuvres that were as visually striking as they were delectable. Each bite of the expertly crafted cocktail dinatoire showcased bold flavors and refined presentation. Complementing the fare, handcrafted cocktails were thoughtfully designed to pair perfectly with the menu, ensuring every sip enhanced the experience.
The spectacular sweet table by Dolci Piu showcased an opulent array of elegantly crafted desserts that delighted every guest. Meanwhile, Sweet J’s Snack Bar took creativity to the next level with their innovative DIY charcuterie experience and served up their famous homemade pizzas poolside in Doxa’s alluring sublevel lair, adding a unique and delicious twist to the evening.
The festive spirit was elevated with breathtaking decor by Luluthia Party Room & Luluthia Design, which transformed the space into a striking red splendour. A statement table draped in luxurious fabric set the scene, while the glow of candlelight and lush red roses and florals adorned every corner, exuding warmth and elegance. Adding to the ambiance, Sky Entertainz enhanced the experience with special lighting effects, creating a radiant atmosphere with enchanting projections that danced across the domed ceiling, further immersing guests in the magic of the night.
Meanwhile, Haute Balloon anchored the space with larger-than-life gold balloons and a whimsical bedroom installation, where the ceiling was blanketed with floating balloons. Playful balloons also danced across the pool, tying together a joyful, lighthearted atmosphere. Eye-catching custom signage by KV Print Bar further enhanced the evening’s glamour, ensuring every corner was picture-perfect.
Setting the mood, DJ Jovie J kept the energy high with a curated mix of festive beats and classic anthems, ensuring the dance floor stayed lively all night. The music was so infectious that guests couldn’t help but sing their hearts out, creating an atmosphere filled with joy and camaraderie.
Guests also struck their best poses and captured their favourite moments with Le Fotobooth and Glam 360 MTL, while media professionals PhilmThis and Martin Brisson Photography documented the joyous atmosphere.
As a thoughtful parting gift, Karine Joncas Cosmétiques provided guests with curated selections from their beauty collections, a perfect treat to celebrate the incredible women in attendance.
