Clearly, we appreciate a good exhibit on the Diary front and, accordingly, were thrilled to attend the Nicholas Party L’heure mauve art exhibition, up for enjoyment until October 16th at the MMFA. Born in Lausanne, Switzerland, the beloved artist is renowned for his unsettling landscapes, portraits, and still-lives that at once celebrate and challenge the conventions of representational painting. Also of note at the exhibit featuring over 100 works: the accompanying audio guide magnificently narrated by Quebecois singer Pierre Lapointe, who released his new album L’heure mauve with the launch. If dreamy art immersions are your thing, this is a must attend.
