THE MUST-DOS FOR GRAND PRIX 2024

RACE-LOVERS AND PARTYGOERS UNITE!

The Formula 1 Grand Prix is one of Montreal’s most exciting events. For some, it marks the beginning of a party-filled summer here in Montreal. For others, it’s an opportunity to visit our fabulous city and take in all its beauty, nightlife, and spirit.

There is no shortage of things to do from June 5 to June 9. The classic spots for anyone interested in participating in the Grand Prix fun are Peel and Crescent streets. Over the weekend, from June 6 until June 9, the two streets become mini festivals, fit with terrasses for food and drinks, DJs, and guaranteed luxury car spotting. The crowds may be overwhelming, but the energy is unbeatable in Downtown Montreal during the Grand Prix.

New this year is the Festival Heineken at the Grand Quay in Old Montreal. This will be a free event for Formula 1 fans to experience racing simulators, take photos on a winner’s podium, and watch live as the F1 qualifiers and main race are broadcast live on a massive screen. Many DJs will play from June 7 to June 9 and food trucks will be nearby to ensure you never get hungry!

If you want to experience the glory of the Grand Prix from the perspective of a Formula 1 driver, visit the Espace Grand Prix at the Eaton Centre. From June 5 to June 9, visitors can participate in a race simulator, Pitstop Challenge, and other sports games that give you an opportunity to test your racing potential.

Now onto the parties… Aside from the F1 racing talent, celebrities in and of themselves, there will also be many high-profile musicians and DJs in town at various events.

On June 8th, you can listen to French Montana, NERVO, Sommer Ray, Edge, and more at Maxim’s Grand Prix Party at Windsor Station. You can get full VIP status or purchase general admission tickets.

Le Richmond in Griffintown will be hosting parties every single night of Grand Prix weekend: the June 6 Welcome Party, the June 7 ‘Party at the Mansion’ Reunion event, the June 8 Red Carpet Gala, and lastly the June 9 After Race Party.

Flyjin, a restaurant and club in Old Montreal, will host Circuit FLY1 from June 5 to June 9, where you can experience dinner, bottle service, or both.

Also in Old Montreal, L’Auberge Saint-Gabriel will host parties throughout the weekend with bottle service and DJ performances, a brunch on June 8, and a closing party on June 9. Not only is it the oldest functioning restaurant in Canada, but it is also a hot spot during Grand Prix weekend that you don’t want to miss.

La Voûte, once a bank vault and now a nightclub, will feature incredible DJs, shows, dancing, and dinner from June 6 to June 9.

The partying continues at Bord’Elle from June 6 through June 8 with exclusive DJs from Miami and Canada.

The famous Ritz-Carlton Montréal annual Grand Prix celebration will be 1950s themed this year. Fashion, food, drinks, and entertainment from the period will all elevate what is already a fabulous evening, in which portions of each ticket are donated to the Barry F. Lorenzetti Foundation which helps mental health care in Canada.

No matter where you end up over Grand Prix weekend, there is guaranteed fun. Enjoy some of the most exciting, jam-packed days that kick off the incredible Montreal summer that awaits us!
