SPOTLIGHT ON LOU-PASCAL TREMBLAY

EN VEDETTE

The McDreamy/McSteamy craze isn’t just American. Canada’s got its own McHottie 2025: Lou-Pascal Tremblay. As the intense Dr. Jacob Faubert on STAT, the actor/director brings next level main-character energy.

More than just a sharp jawline, Lou-Pascal has been a standout since his teens, earning a Gémeaux for Jérémie and making his mark in L’Échappée, 1:54, and STAT. He’s also co-directed award-nominated work.

Off-screen, Lou’s refreshingly open about mental health, eco-anxiety, and supports cancer caregivers, all while breaking the internet with partner Marina Bastarache through La casa des cocos.

Brains, heart, talent—and those eyes? Lou-Pascal isn’t just a star; he’s a constellation. And Sartorialto’s Maud Marquis-Breton and MP Chevalier have the Diary exclusive:

Lou-Pascal, landing a leading role in Quebec’s most-watched show is a massive milestone. What’s it like to be at the heart of such an incredible cast? “Honestly, I consider the team my family. As I get older, I realize that the people I choose to spend time with outside the studio are what matter most. That chosen family is everything.”

If you don’t mind us asking, who else is part of that chosen family? (smiles) “Your team at Sartorialto is definitely part of that special group. From the moment I needed a tux for Cannes ten years ago, a bond was formed. To this day, you’ve accompanied me on the journey and are truly chosen family.”

That’s touching, my friend. “It is. And having you tailor my looks is something I look forward to. When you’re in the public eye, and have a personal connection to the people behind your style, it adds so much meaning.”

On another note—what’s next for you? Any exciting projects? “A lead role in a big-budget variety show by Amazon Prime. It’s a little scary, since it’s slapstick and outside my usual dramatic work. But I’m not interested in staying comfortable. Turning 30 didn’t soften me! There’s also a special documentary in the works for Jérémie’s tenth season, a full-circle moment.”

Finally, what are you guilty of? “Probably taking on too much. When I dive into a project, I go all in. But I’m on vacation now for two months… Time to live a little!”
