The Winter Olympics are coming to Milan, Italy from February 6 to 22, and all eyes are on the athletes preparing to take the world stage. We caught up with Quebec City skier Audrey Robichaud for a quick, behind-the-scenes chat about life on the slopes, training grounds, and what drives her to compete at the highest level. Simple, focused, and refreshingly real, Audrey gives us a glimpse into the mindset and preparation behind Olympic skiing, one turn at a time:
1. What is the largest ski resort in Canada where athletes go to practice and stay competition-ready?
The biggest resort we practice at is Whistler Blackcomb.

2. Are many stunts performed by skiers considered dangerous?
Any stunt can become dangerous if you have not practiced it before. Before we throw a new trick, we practice first on the water ramp and on the trampoline. We make sure we are confident before doing anything out there.

3. What inspired you to become a skier for the Olympics?
My motivation was that I wanted to be one of the best skiers in the world.
