A New Culinary Ritual
Last night, on Thursday, September 18, my guest and I stepped out of Stanley restaurant at Le Centre Sheraton Montreal Hotel with the lingering taste of truffle, basil, and Prosecco still fresh in my mind. The launch of Dolce Vita Thursdays was a full-sensory plunge into the Italian art of living, right in the heart of downtown Montreal.

From 5 PM to 8 PM, Stanley came alive with the aromas of wood-fired pizzas, the sparkle of Aperol Spritzes, and the pulsing beats of DJ Majess. The atmosphere was festive yet relaxed, drawing in a crowd of locals and travelers eager to toast to la dolce vita. And with more evenings already lined up on October 2, 9, 16, and 23, this is clearly the beginning of a new culinary ritual in Montreal.

Italian Cuisine at Stanley Restaurant
Located inside the newly refreshed Le Centre Sheraton, Stanley has already earned a reputation for being a welcoming, modern hub. Its menus showcase locally inspired cuisine with seasonal flair, but for Dolce Vita Thursdays, the spotlight shifts to Italy. The dedicated pizza menu includes classics and indulgent creations:
- Margherita: tomato sauce, fior di latte, parmesan, olive oil, fresh basil.
- Pepperoni e Fromage: tomato sauce, fior di latte, pepperoni.
- Burrata, Champignons et Truffe Noire: burrata, parmesan, mushrooms, truffle paste, olive oil, basil (+3$).

To begin, antipasti favorites like Focaccia Tumaca with prosciutto, lobster arancinis with smoked caviar, and local charcuteries and cheeses with pepper confit offer a true taste of comfort food.
Pairings are equally considered. Signature Italian cocktails—Aperol Spritz, Negroni Sbagliato, and sparkling Prosecco DOC Treviso—round out the experience, while combo menus (pizza with drink for $37, or a full bottle of Prosecco with pizzas for $115) make sharing irresistible.

Montreal’s New Italian Gathering Place
With Dolce Vita Thursdays, Stanley at Le Centre Sheraton Montreal Hotel introduces a hot spot that blends culinary authenticity, social connection, and urban style. From handcrafted pizzas and antipasti to live music and signature cocktails, each Thursday is designed as a celebration of the good life, right in the heart of the city.
For Montrealers eager to spice up their after-work evenings and tourists searching for an unforgettable taste of downtown, Stanley’s Dolce Vita Thursdays are set to become a can’t-miss event on the city’s October culinary calendar.
