TUTI DO IS JUST GETTING REVVED UP…

20 YEARS OF REV COMMUNICATIONS

Seeing that this is a luxury lifestyle mag with a spotlight on the social scene, and our current theme is connection, we would likely be remiss were we not to mark the milestone 20th anniversary of Rev Communications and its powerhouse founder and top gal, Tuti Do.

Launched in 2004 after impressive stints at world-class companies like premiere lingerie retailer La Senza (where, as marketing lead for La Senza Girl, Do helped launch one of the country’s first online stores) and legendary denim brand Parasuco (where, as marketing/ communications director, Do may or may not have enjoyed a few cocktails in celebrity company at The Playboy Mansion), the ambitious young communications/PR professional decided it was time to rev up the industry in a different way. Her way, lol.

And boy, did she ever.

Despite juggling all the responsibilities of new motherhood, Do was on a mission to make her mark in the world of marketing, PR, and event management, and she hasn’t looked back since.

To date, Tuti and team have worked with a coveted client list that reads more like an encyclopedia of trending brands (La Senza, Bath & Body Works, Davids Tea, Pajar, Aldo, Dynamite, and Le Meridien, to name a few); launched a plethora of celebrity collections for the star-powered likes of Bieber and Lopez; garbed some of the most glittering glitterati under the sun (think Shakira, Ricky Martin, The Backstreet Boys, NSYNC, Jessica Alba, Wyclef Jean, and Missy Elliott); and planned countless successful national PR campaigns, international product launches, and high-profile events. (I’m getting Netflix and chill just thinking about it!)

More recently, after the pause accompanying the worst pandemic we’ve seen in a century, Tuti, like so many of us, took a deeper dive into her purpose pond and experienced an epiphany of sorts, making a promise to herself to savour the many joyful moments in life, which eventually culminated in her launch of Rev’s latest division, Joy & Joie.

And, of course, Tuti has revved things up on all cylinders here too, curating events and experiences designed specifically to spark joy and connect people in replenishing and positive ways. Some of the events in this new niche include Mommy x Me, the ultimate tea party for 300 moms and daughters boasting eye candy at every turn; new and exciting networking parties for female entrepreneurs; and a charitable soirée for The Shoebox Project, a cause close to her heart.

As for the next 20, well, it’s probably safe to say they’ll be anything but boring. Who needs level up when you can rev up?
