Paris stopped. The entire fashion world held its breath. And Matthieu Blazy delivered.
On July 7th, the second Chanel Haute Couture show directed by Matthieu Blazy took place at the Grand Palais in Paris, and the result was nothing short of a revelation. A modern fairytale spun from the most extraordinary craftsmanship, the most breathtaking silhouettes, and a creative vision that feels simultaneously deeply rooted in the house’s iconic legacy and entirely, thrillingly new.
Gracie Abrams has been announced as the face of Chanel’s Coco Mademoiselle Crush Absolu, adding yet another layer of cultural excitement to an already extraordinary Chanel moment. The pairing of one of music’s most compelling young voices with one of fashion’s most beloved fragrance icons feels as natural and inspired as everything else Blazy touches.
And the beauty world is equally electric. Mother-of-pearl gives Bvlgari’s Divas’ Dream collection its latest stunning update, with seven new pieces arriving in July 2026 across fine jewelry and High Jewelry. The fan-shaped motif returns in pink gold, shaped into rings, bracelets, necklaces, and a sautoir designed for layering, while new mosaic-inspired designs bring together turquoise, chrysoprase, tanzanite, rubellite, malachite, amethyst, and diamonds. Utterly covetable and completely magnificent.
Valentino has also revived its beauty chapter with Vendetta, its first prestige fragrance franchise in six years, comprising Vendetta Donna and Vendetta Uomo. Two years into Alessandro Michele‘s extraordinary new era at the house, the launch feels perfectly timed and deeply considered.
July 2026 is shaping up to be one of the most exciting months in recent luxury fashion and beauty history. And we are watching every single moment with our full and undivided attention.
