Silvia Fenturini Fendi designed the bag; to her it represents motherhood and the relationship she cherishes with her two daughters, Delfina Delettrez Fendi and Leonetta Luciano Fendi.
What better way to symbolize the purse’s history than to present Kate and Lila Moss, an iconic mother and daughter duo, in this campaign. Seeing the two models, posed together with Peekaboo bags, you can’t help but understand the matriarchal essence that defines the FENDI brand. Not only are the photos—taken by Craig McDean—and the bags within them beautiful, but they present a meaningful history.
