When the much-loved pro dancers at treasured cultural jewel Les Ballets Jazz de Montréal (BJM) got the word funding was being cut for therapeutic care on tour, they were pretty devastated. Understandably so. But then, as is their driven way, the team was motivated, fired up to turn a negative into a positive. The result: A dancer-driven benefit eve, masterminded in just over a month, that not only generated invaluable monies for their coming tours, but underscored to one and all (this Social Gal included) that the power of the human spirit dances ON. 😉 A huge congrats to Alexander Hille and the gang.
